Hides are softened in vats, dyed with natural vegetable dyes like saffron and henna, then sun-dried and stretched. The labor-intensive tanning process takes about 20 days.

Once dried, the leather is cut into 36 pieces and hand-sewn with Sabra Silk, a fiber from Sahara cacti dyed with vegetable dyes. The pouf features intricate hand-stitched Moroccan patterns, ensuring authenticity and charm.
